April 4, 2024: Phoenix, AZ 85040 The crowd at Thursday's league bout between the Metro Tech Knights (Phoenix, AZ) and the host South Mountain Jaguars (Phoenix, AZ), saw Metro Tech's volleyball squad beat South Mountain by a tally of 3-0.
With the win, Metro Tech upgrades its record to 7-4 on the year. The Knights host McClintock (Tempe, AZ) to play the Chargers in a 5A Metro bout on Tuesday, April 9. The Chargers go into the bout with a record of 4-13. McClintock won 3-0 in their recent league bout against Fairfax (Laveen, AZ)
The Jaguars now own a 1-9 record. They play next when they travel to Horizon Honors for a non-league bout on Friday, April 5. South Mountain will play a Eagles squad coming off a 3-1 league loss to Scottsdale Christian Academy (Phoenix, AZ). The Eagles record now stands at 2-6.
