Mississippi High School Softball - Neshoba Central bounces Columbus
April 4, 2024: Columbus, MS 39702 The Neshoba Central Rockets routed the host Columbus Falcons softball squad by a count of 15-0 in Thursday's league battle.
The Rockets (19-3) will now prepare for their battle against Union (Union, MS). The Yellowjackets go into the non-league battle with a 10-8 record. In their last battle, Union topped Philadelphia (Philadelphia, MS), 15-2, in a league battle.
The Falcons now sport a 0-9 record. They play next when they travel to Ridgeland for a 6A Region 2 battle on Friday, April 5. Columbus will meet a Titans squad coming off a 21-0 league loss to Warren Central (Vicksburg, MS). The Titans record now stands at 8-12.
