Louisiana High School Softball - Sulphur can't hold off Sam Houston
April 4, 2024: Lake Charles, LA 70611 The Sam Houston Broncos softball team scored 4 runs and limited the visiting Sulphur Golden Tors to 3 in the Broncos league triumph on Thursday.
With the triumph, Sam Houston moves its record to 16-11 on the year. The Broncos host New Iberia (New Iberia, LA) to clash with the Yellowjackets in a 5A District 3 game on Friday, April 5. The Yellowjackets come into the game with a record of 12-15. New Iberia won 5-3 in their recent league game against Acadiana (Lafayette, LA)
In their next game, the Golden Tors clash with the St. Thomas More Cougars (Lafayette, LA) in a non-league game, on Monday, April 8. Sulphur will attempt to move on its 19-10 season record. The Cougars come into the game with a 27-3 record after their 11-9 non-league loss to Academy of Our Lady (Marrero, LA).
