The Lamar Thunder (Lamar, CO) baseball trounced the host Alamosa Mean Moose (Alamosa, CO), 14-3 in Friday's non-league challenge.

The Thunder now own a 6-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to La Junta for a 3A/2A Tri-Peaks challenge on Tuesday, April 8. Lamar will clash with a Tigers team coming off a 11-1 non-league loss to Peak to Peak (Lafayette, CO). The Tigers record now stands at 3-9.

With the defeat, Alamosa drops to 5-7 on the year. The Mean moose travel to Monte Vista (Monte Vista, CO) to clash with the Pirates in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, April 8. The Pirates go into the challenge with a record of 5-2.
