The Benjamin Russell Wildcats baseball team scored 17 runs and held the visiting Sylacauga Aggies to 6 in the Wildcats non-league win on Friday.

The Wildcats now own a 11-10 record. They take the field next when they travel to Calera for a 6A Area 5 test on Tuesday, April 8. Benjamin Russell will play a Eagles team coming off a 7-5 non-league win over Wetumpka (Wetumpka, AL). The Eagles record now stands at 13-15.

With the defeat, Sylacauga drops to 13-15 on the year. The Aggies host Shelby County (Columbiana, AL) to play the Wildcats in a 5A Area 8 test on Tuesday, April 8.
