April 4, 2025: Prince Frederick, MD 20678 The La Plata Warriors (La Plata, MD) baseball trounced the host Calvert Cavaliers (Prince Frederick, MD), 11-0 in Friday's league challenge.
The Warriors now own a 3-2 record. They take the field next when they host St. Mary's Ryken for a non-league challenge on Monday, April 7. La Plata will clash with a Knights team coming off a 7-5 league loss to Bishop O'Connell (Arlington, VA). The Knights record now stands at 7-7.
With the defeat, Calvert drops to 1-5 on the year. The Cavaliers travel to Leonardtown (Leonardtown, MD) to clash with the Raiders in a Southern Maryland challenge on Monday, April 7. The Raiders go into the challenge with a record of 4-1. Leonardtown lost 6-0 in their recent league challenge against McDonough (Pomfret, MD)
