Maryland High School Baseball - Calvert defeats Great Mills
April 9, 2025: Great Mills, MD 20634 The Calvert Cavaliers (Prince Frederick, MD) baseball trounced the host Great Mills Hornets (Great Mills, MD), 6-0 in Wednesday's league challenge.
The Cavaliers now own a 2-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to North Point for a Southern Maryland challenge on Friday, April 11. Calvert will clash with a Eagles team coming off a 11-2 league loss to Chopticon (Morganza, MD). The Eagles record now stands at 4-2.
With the defeat, Great Mills drops to 3-4 on the year. The Hornets travel to Lackey (Indian Head, MD) to clash with the Chargers in a Southern Maryland challenge on Friday, April 11. The Chargers go into the challenge with a record of 2-5. Lackey won 12-2 in their recent league challenge against Thomas Stone (Waldorf, MD)
