Georgia High School Baseball - Cartersville defeats Cedartown
April 4, 2025: Cedartown, GA 30125 The crowd at Friday's league battle between the Cartersville Hurricanes (Cartersville, GA) and the host Cedartown Bulldogs (Cedartown, GA), saw Cartersville's baseball team gain a win over Cedartown by a tally of 8-2.
The Hurricanes (17-7) will now prepare for their battle against Southeast Whitfield County (Dalton, GA). The Raiders enter the AAAA Region 7 battle with a 4-20 record. In their last battle, Southeast Whitfield County was overwhelmed by Dalton (Dalton, GA), 17-3, in a league battle.
Next, the Bulldogs face the Dalton Catamounts (Dalton, GA) in a AAAA Region 7 battle, on Tuesday, April 8. Cedartown will attempt to upgrade on its 11-13 season record. The Catamounts enter the battle with a 17-7 record after their 6-1 non-league loss to East Hamilton (Ooltewah, TN).
