Mississippi High School Baseball - Myrtle defeats Falkner
April 4, 2025: Myrtle, MS 38650 The Myrtle Hawks baseball team scored 5 runs and held the visiting Falkner Eagles to 0 in the Hawks league win on Friday.
The Hawks now own a 18-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to Smithville for a non-league test on Saturday, April 5. Myrtle will play a Seminoles team coming off a 10-0 league loss to West Union (Myrtle, MS). The Seminoles record now stands at 2-16.
With the defeat, Falkner drops to 16-7 on the year. The Eagles travel to Pine Grove (Ripley, MS) to play the Panthers in a 1A Region 2 test on Tuesday, April 8. The Panthers go into the test with a record of 10-10.
