The Northwest Mounties baseball team scored 6 runs and held the visiting Hanover-Horton Comets to 2 in the Mounties non-league win on Friday.

The Mounties now own a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Lumen Christi Catholic for a non-league test on Monday, April 7. Northwest will clash with a Titans team coming off a 10-0 league win over Richard (Riverview, MI). The Titans record now stands at 1-0.

With the defeat, Hanover-Horton drops to 1-1 on the year. The Comets host East Jackson (Jackson, MI) to clash with the Trojans in a Cascades test on Monday, April 7.
