The Helix Highlanders (La Mesa, CA) baseball the visiting University City Centurions (San Diego, CA), 2-0 in Friday's non-league challenge.

The Highlanders now own a 7-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to Granite Hills for a Grossmont Hills challenge on Wednesday, April 9. Helix will clash with a Eagles team coming off a 11-1 non-league win over Torrey Pines (San Diego, CA). The Eagles record now stands at 8-0.

With the defeat, University City drops to 10-4 on the year. The Centurions travel to Madison (San Diego, CA) to clash with the Warhawks in a non-league challenge on Monday, April 14. The Warhawks go into the challenge with a record of 12-3. Madison won 10-0 in their recent non-league challenge against Lowell (San Francisco, CA)
