The Helix Highlanders baseball team scored 4 runs and held the visiting El Capitan Vaqueros to 1 in the Highlanders league win on Thursday.

The Highlanders now hold a 10-9 record. They take the field next when they host Valhalla for a Grossmont Hills test on Friday, April 25. Helix will play a Norsemen team coming off a 7-1 non-league loss to West Hills (Santee, CA). The Norsemen record now stands at 5-13.

With the defeat, El Capitan drops to 7-11 on the year. The Vaqueros travel to Grossmont (El Cajon, CA) to play the Foothillers in a Grossmont Hills test on Friday, April 25. The Foothillers go into the test with a record of 9-11. Grossmont lost 14-0 in their recent league test against Granite Hills (El Cajon, CA)
