Coronado Islanders (Coronado, CA) fans left the game pleased Monday as they observed their baseball squad achieve victory over the visiting El Capitan Vaqueros (Lakeside, CA), 5-0 in a non-league match.

With the triumph, Coronado advances its record to 8-3 on the season. The Islanders travel to Maranatha Christian (San Diego, CA) to battle the Eagles in a non-league match on Tuesday, April 1. The Eagles come into the match with a record of 0-9. Maranatha Christian lost 11-1 in their recent non-league match against El Camino (Oceanside, CA)
