The Pompton Lakes Cardinals baseball team scored 10 runs and held the visiting Manchester Regional Falcons to 0 in the Cardinals league win on Friday.

The Cardinals now hold a 3-2 record. They take the field next when they host Cedar Grove for a non-league test on Saturday, April 5. Pompton Lakes will play a Panthers team coming off a 2-1 non-league win over Payne Tech (Newark, NJ). The Panthers record now stands at 1-0.

With the defeat, Manchester Regional drops to 0-2 on the year. The Falcons travel to Paterson Charter School for Science and Technology (Paterson, NJ) to play the Lions in a NJIC - Colonial test on Wednesday, April 9. The Lions go into the test with a record of 0-2.
