April 4, 2025: Ninety Six, SC 29666 The Saluda Tigers (Saluda, SC) baseball trounced the host Ninety Six Wildcats (Ninety Six, SC), 12-2 in Friday's league challenge.
The Tigers now own a 7-2 record. They take the field next when they host Strom Thurmond for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, April 8. Saluda will play a Rebels team coming off a 12-6 non-league win over Pelion (Pelion, SC). The Rebels record now stands at 4-5.
With the defeat, Ninety Six drops to 5-6 on the year. The Wildcats travel to American Leadership Academy (Lexington, SC) to play the Patriots in a test on Tuesday, April 8. The Patriots go into the test with a record of 6-9. American Leadership Academy lost 14-0 in their recent league test against Batesburg-Leesville (Batesburg, SC)
