The Monroe Vikings prevailed the visiting Poly Parrots volleyball squad by a score of 2-0 in Friday's league test.

With the win, Monroe improves its record to 8-2 on the season. The Vikings host North Hollywood (North Hollywood, CA) to face the Huskies in a test on Monday, April 21. The Huskies go into the test with a record of 9-3.

The Parrots now own a 5-11 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Taft for a non-league test on Saturday, April 5. Poly will face a Toreadors squad coming off a 2-0 league win over Birmingham (Lake Balboa, CA). The Toreadors record now stands at 11-10.
