In Friday's league challenge, the visiting Montgomery Aztecs volleyball team scored a 3-1 triumph over the Hilltop Lancers.

The Aztecs (11-9) will now prepare for their challenge against Sweetwater (National City, CA). The Red Devils come into the Metro South Bay challenge with a 19-7 record. In their last challenge, Sweetwater lost by Mojave (North Las Vegas, NV), 2-1, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Lancers play the Mar Vista Mariners (Imperial Beach, CA) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, April 9. Hilltop will attempt to upgrade on its 6-12 season record.
