The Anthem Prep Eagles softball team scored 15 runs and held the visiting Desert Heights Prep Yote to 0 in the Eagles league win on Friday.

The Eagles now sport a 6-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Salome for a 1A West battle on Monday, April 7. Anthem Prep will confront a Frogs team coming off a 21-1 league loss to Bagdad (Bagdad, AZ). The Frogs record now stands at 3-5.

With the loss, Desert Heights Prep moves to 2-9 on the season. The Yote host San Pasqual Valley (Winterhaven, CA) to confront the Warriors in a 1A West battle on Tuesday, April 15. The Warriors come into the battle with a record of 1-4.
