Next, the Pirates play the Robinson Rockets (Robinson, TX) in a 4A Region III District 23 challenge, on Tuesday, April 8. La Vega will attempt to upgrade on its 3-10 season record. The Rockets enter the challenge with a 22-2 record after their 12-5 league win over Gatesville (Gatesville, TX).
The Cadets (1-15) will now prepare for their challenge against Lorena (Lorena, TX). The Leopards enter the 4A Region III District 23 challenge with a 14-6 record. In their last challenge, Lorena edged China Spring (China Spring, TX), 6-2, in a league challenge.
