The Cedaredge Bruins baseball team scored 9 runs and held the visiting Meeker Cowboys to 8 in the Bruins league win on Saturday.

The Bruins now own a 7-2 record. They play next when they travel to Olathe for a 2A Western Slope test on Tuesday, April 7. Cedaredge will clash with a Pirates team coming off a 20-8 non-league loss to Highland (Ault, CO). The Pirates record now stands at 4-6.

With the defeat, Meeker drops to 1-4 on the year. The Cowboys travel to Grand Valley (Parachute, CO) to clash with the Cardinals in a 2A Western Slope test on Tuesday, April 7. The Cardinals go into the test with a record of 3-8. Grand Valley lost 5-4 in their recent non-league test against Moffat County (Craig, CO)
