Illinois High School Softball - Macomb bounces Pittsfield
April 5, 2022: Macomb, IL 61455 The crowd at Tuesday's non-league match between the Macomb Bombers (Macomb, IL) and the visiting Pittsfield Saukees (Pittsfield, IL), saw Macomb's softball squad achieve victory over Pittsfield by a count of 12-1.
The Bombers now sport a 5-1 record. They take the field next when they host Beardstown for a non-league match on Wednesday, April 6.
With the loss, Pittsfield falls to 3-3 on the campaign. The Saukees travel to Seymour (Payson, IL) to face the Indians in a West Central Conference - South match on Thursday, April 7. The Indians enter the match with a record of 3-5. Seymour won 22-5 in their recent league match against Griggsville-Perry (Griggsville, IL)
