Illinois High School Baseball - Sterling loses to Freeport
April 5, 2023: Freeport, IL 61032 The Freeport Pretzels baseball team scored 9 runs and limited the visiting Sterling Golden Warriors to 2 in the Pretzels non-league victory on Wednesday.
The Pretzels (4-2) will now prepare for their match against Sandwich (Sandwich, IL). The Indians go into the non-league match with a 2-2 record. In their last match, Sandwich was overwhelmed by Morris (Morris, IL), 11-1, in a league match.
The Golden Warriors (5-6) will now prepare for their match against Moline (Moline, IL). The Maroons go into the Western Big Six match with a 11-3 record. In their last match, Moline tipped Belvidere North (Belvidere, IL), 12-1, in a non-league match.
