Alabama High School Baseball - Horseshoe Bend loses to Cleburne County
April 5, 2024: New Site, AL 36256 The Horseshoe Bend Generals baseball team (New Site, AL), was overwhelmed 10-0 in Friday's non-league outing with the visiting Cleburne County Tigers (Heflin, AL)
The Tigers now hold a 12-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to White Plains for a 4A Area 9 outing on Tuesday, April 9. Cleburne County will confront a Wildcats team coming off a 10-9 league loss to Jacksonville (Jacksonville, AL). The Wildcats record now stands at 9-16.
Next, the Generals confront the Ranburne Bulldogs (Ranburne, AL) in a 2A Area 8 outing, on Tuesday, April 9. Horseshoe Bend will attempt to advance on its 8-13 season record. The Bulldogs go into the outing with a 10-12 record after their 5-2 non-league loss to Donoho (Anniston, AL).
