April 5, 2024: Evans, LA 70639 The Pickering Red Devils crushed the host Evans Eagles baseball team by a count of 27-12 in Friday's non-league bout.
The Red Devils now possess a 7-12 record. They take the field next when they travel to Avoyelles for a 2A District 4 bout on Tuesday, April 9. Pickering will face a Mustangs team coming off a 6-1 non-league loss to Vidalia (Vidalia, LA). The Mustangs record now stands at 11-13.
Next, the Eagles face the Plainview Hornets (Glenmora, LA) in a non-league bout, on Monday, April 8. Evans will attempt to move on its 1-13 season record. The Hornets enter the bout with a 9-15 record after their 15-14 league loss to St. Joseph's - Plaucheville (Plaucheville, LA).
