In Friday's non-league challenge, the Valley Christian Warriors (San Jose, CA) baseball squad edged the visiting Hollister Haybalers (Hollister, CA), by a final score of 2-1.

With the win, Valley Christian upgrades its record to 15-2 on the season. The Warriors host Serra (San Mateo, CA) to battle the Padres in a West Catholic challenge on Tuesday, April 9. The Padres come into the challenge with a record of 13-2. Serra won 10-1 in their recent non-league challenge against St. Mary's (Stockton, CA)
