Imlay City Spartans (Imlay City, MI) fans exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the visiting Vassar Vulcans (Vassar, MI), 2-0 in a non-league test.

With the win, Imlay City upgrades its record to 3-0 on the season. The Spartans travel to Croswell-Lexington (Croswell, MI) to battle the Pioneers in a Blue Water Area test on Monday, April 8. The Pioneers come into the test with a record of 0-2. Croswell-Lexington lost 15-0 in their recent non-league test against De La Salle Collegiate (Warren, MI)
