Tennessee High School Baseball - Memphis University School prevails Tipton-Rosemark Academy
April 5, 2024: Memphis, TN 38119 Memphis University School Owls (Memphis, TN) fans exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the visiting Tipton-Rosemark Academy Rebels (Millington, TN), 9-0 in a non-league test.
With the win, Memphis University School upgrades its record to 8-6 on the season. The Owls host Briarcrest Christian (Eads, TN) to play the Saints in a D II-AA West contest on Monday, April 8. The Saints enter the contest with a record of 13-5. Briarcrest Christian won 5-3 in their recent non-league contest against Christian Brothers (St. Louis, MO)
The Rebels now sport a 10-9 record. They take the field next when they travel to St. George's for a non-league contest on Saturday, April 6. Tipton-Rosemark Academy will play a Gryphons squad coming off a 5-2 non-league loss to Magnolia Heights (Senatobia, MS). The Gryphons record now stands at 6-7.
