Texas High School Softball - Big Sandy falls to Ore City
April 5, 2024: Ore City, TX 75683 In Friday's league outing, the host Ore City Rebels softball team scored a nice 10-0 win over the Big Sandy Wildcats.
Coming up next, the Rebels battle the New Summerfield Hornets (New Summerfield, TX) in a 1A Region III District 19 outing, on Monday, April 8. Ore City will attempt to upgrade on its 7-19 season record. The Hornets enter the outing with a 1-9 record after their 20-5 non-league loss to Hawkins (Hawkins, TX).
The Wildcats (3-11) will now prepare for their outing against Overton (Overton, TX). The Mustangs enter the non-league outing with a 18-8 record. In their last outing, Overton ran past Union Grove (Gladewater, TX), 12-9, in a non-league outing.
