South Carolina High School Softball - Greer bounces Eastside
April 5, 2024: Greer, SC 29651 Greer Yellow Jackets (Greer, SC) backers exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Eastside Eagles (Taylors, SC), 15-8 in a league challenge.
The Yellow Jackets now own a 4-8 record. They take the field next when they host Powdersville for a non-league challenge on Wednesday, April 10. Greer will battle a Patriots squad coming off a 14-2 league win over Fountain Inn (Fountain Inn, SC). The Patriots record now stands at 11-6.
With the loss, Eastside falls to 0-8 on the campaign. The Eagles host Wade Hampton (Greenville, SC) to battle the Generals in a AAAA Region 2 challenge on Friday, April 12. The Generals enter the challenge with a record of 9-6. Wade Hampton lost 12-0 in their recent non-league challenge against Chapman (Inman, SC)
