Texas High School Softball - Huntington bounces Hemphill
April 5, 2024: Huntington, TX 75949 Huntington Red Devils (Huntington, TX) backers exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Hemphill Hornets (Hemphill, TX), 9-0 in a league challenge.
The Red Devils now own a 16-4 record. They take the field next when they host Central Heights for a 3A Region III District 21 match on Friday, April 12. Huntington will face a Blue Devils squad coming off a 8-4 league win over Diboll (Diboll, TX). The Blue Devils record now stands at 6-7.
With the loss, Hemphill falls to 8-10 on the campaign. The Hornets host Pollok Central (Pollok, TX) to face the Bulldogs in a 3A Region III District 21 test on Thursday, April 11. The Bulldogs come into the test with a record of 23-5. Pollok Central lost 7-1 in their recent league test against Diboll (Diboll, TX)
