April 5, 2024: Drain, OR 97435 North Douglas (Drain, OR) backers exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Lowell Devils (Lowell, OR), 3-2 in a league game.
With the triumph, North Douglas moves its record to 6-0 on the year. The travel to Gold Beach (Gold Beach, OR) to clash with the Panthers in a non-league game on Saturday, April 6. The Panthers come into the game with a record of 0-3.
In their next game, the Devils clash with the Oakland Oakers (Oakland, OR) in a 2A/1A-SD5 Special District 5 game, on Tuesday, April 9. Lowell will attempt to move on its 4-3 season record. The Oakers come into the game with a 8-2 record after their 13-3 league win over Yoncalla (Yoncalla, OR).
