The Hanover Park Hornets (East Hanover, NJ) baseball trounced the visiting Morristown-Beard Crimson (Morristown, NJ), 20-8 in Saturday's non-league challenge.

The Hornets now own a 2-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Kinnelon for a NJAC - Liberty challenge on Monday, April 7. Hanover Park will clash with a Colts team coming off a 3-2 non-league loss to Morris Hills (Rockaway, NJ). The Colts record now stands at 0-3.

With the defeat, Morristown-Beard drops to 4-1 on the year. The Crimson host Boonton (Boonton, NJ) to clash with the Bombers in a NJAC - Independence challenge on Monday, April 7.
