The crowd at Saturday's non-league battle between the Northwest Guilford Vikings (Greensboro, NC) and the host Oak Grove Grizzlies (Winston-Salem, NC), saw Northwest Guilford's baseball team gain a win over Oak Grove by a tally of 17-10.

The Vikings (7-8) will now prepare for their battle against Southeast Guilford (Greensboro, NC). The Falcons enter the Metro 4A battle with a 4-11 record. In their last battle, Southeast Guilford held off Western Guilford (Greensboro, NC), 4-2, in a league battle.

Next, the Grizzlies face the Montgomery Central Timberwolves (Troy, NC) in a Mid-Piedmont 3A battle, on Tuesday, April 8. Oak Grove will attempt to upgrade on its 8-8 season record. The Timberwolves enter the battle with a 6-9 record after their 7-0 league loss to Central Davidson (Lexington, NC).
