California High School Volleyball - Sacred Heart Cathedral Preparatory over Monta Vista

In Saturday's non-league challenge, the visiting Sacred Heart Cathedral Preparatory Fightin' Irish volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Monta Vista Matadors.

The Fightin' Irish (15-9) will now prepare for their challenge against Junipero Serra (San Mateo, CA). The Padres come into the WCAL challenge with a 18-9 record. In their last challenge, Junipero Serra beat San Mateo (San Mateo, CA), 3-1, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Matadors meet the Homestead Mustangs (Cupertino, CA) in a SCVAL - De Anza challenge, on Wednesday, April 9. Monta Vista will attempt to upgrade on its 13-9 season record. The Mustangs come into the challenge with a 11-6 record after their 2-1 non-league win over Mountain View (Mountain View, CA).
