Louisiana High School Softball - Central Catholic bounces St. James
April 5, 2025: St. James, LA 70090 The Central Catholic Eagles softball team scored 19 runs and held the host St. James Wildcats to 2 in the Eagles non-league win on Saturday.
The Eagles now possess a 9-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Covenant Christian Academy for a 1A District 7 battle on Monday, April 7. Central Catholic will confront a Lions team coming off a 14-4 non-league loss to South Terrebonne (Bourg, LA). The Lions record now stands at 9-9.
With the loss, St. James moves to 5-16 on the season. The Wildcats travel to Parkview Baptist (Baton Rouge, LA) to confront the Eagles in a non-league battle on Tuesday, April 8. The Eagles come into the battle with a record of 15-11. Parkview Baptist won 13-1 in their recent non-league battle against Denham Springs (Denham Springs, LA)
