The Mercyhurst Prep Lakers crushed the host Seneca Bobcats baseball team by a count of 8-1 in Wednesday's league bout.

The Lakers now possess a 2-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Erie for a non-league bout on Friday, April 8. Mercyhurst Prep will face a Royals team coming off a 3-2 league loss to Warren (Warren, PA). The Royals record now stands at 0-2.
