The Porter Cowboys (Brownsville, TX) baseball trounced the host Pace Vikings (Brownsville, TX), 15-2 in Thursday's league contest.

Coming up next, the Cowboys play the Harlingen South Hawks (Harlingen, TX) in a 5A Region IV District 32 contest, on Tuesday, April 11. Porter will attempt to better on its 9-9 season record. The Hawks enter the contest with a 16-6 record after their 14-7 league loss to Weslaco East (Weslaco, TX).
