The Lakota West Firebirds lacrosse squad (West Chester, OH), was overwhelmed 17-0 in Thursday's league challenge with the host Mason Comets (Mason, OH)

Coming up next, the Comets meet the Shady Side Academy Bulldogs (Pittsburgh, PA) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, April 8. Mason will attempt to improve on its 6-0 season record. The Bulldogs enter the challenge with a 1-3 record after their 28-2 non-league loss to Culver Academies (Culver, IN).

The Firebirds now sport a 3-5 record. They play next when they travel to Lakota East for a Region 4 challenge on Tuesday, April 11. Lakota West will meet a Thunderhawks squad coming off a 5-3 non-league win over Pickerington North (Pickerington, OH). The Thunderhawks record now stands at 5-2.
