New Jersey High School Softball - Spotswood holds off Woodbridge
April 6, 2023: Spotswood, NJ 08884 Spotswood Chargers (Spotswood, NJ) backers exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Woodbridge Barrons (Woodbridge, NJ), 2-0 in a non-league challenge.
The Chargers now own a 2-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Sayreville for a non-league challenge on Saturday, April 8. Spotswood will battle a Bombers squad coming off a 9-3 league loss to East Brunswick (East Brunswick, NJ). The Bombers record now stands at 0-1.
With the loss, Woodbridge falls to 0-3 on the campaign. The Barrons host North Plainfield (North Plainfield, NJ) to battle the Canucks in a non-league challenge on Saturday, April 8. The Canucks enter the challenge with a record of 0-3. North Plainfield lost 15-0 in their recent non-league challenge against Colonia (Colonia, NJ)
