Texas High School Baseball - Sherman loses to Gunter
April 6, 2024: Gunter, TX 75058 The Gunter Tigers baseball team scored 11 runs and limited the visiting Sherman Bearcats to 1 in the Tigers non-league victory on Saturday.
The Tigers (22-0) will now prepare for their match against Howe (Howe, TX). The Bulldogs go into the 3A Region II District 11 match with a 7-12 record. In their last match, Howe was overwhelmed by Bonham (Bonham, TX), 6-2, in a league match.
The Bearcats (9-13) will now prepare for their match against Greenville (Greenville, TX). The Lions go into the 5A Region II District 13 match with a 11-12 record. In their last match, Greenville gained a win over Mansfield Summit (Arlington, TX), 14-0, in a non-league match.
