California High School Softball - Santa Margarita bounces Bishop Gorman
April 6, 2024: Rancho Santa Margarita, CA 92688 Santa Margarita Eagles (Rancho Santa Margarita, CA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Bishop Gorman Gaels (Las Vegas, NV), 6-0 in a non-league challenge.
The Eagles now own a 14-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to Mater Dei for a Trinity challenge on Tuesday, April 9. Santa Margarita will face a Monarchs squad coming off a 3-0 league loss to Orange Lutheran (Orange, CA). The Monarchs record now stands at 7-6.
With the loss, Bishop Gorman falls to 5-13 on the campaign. The Gaels host Rosary Academy (Fullerton, CA) to face the Royals in a non-league challenge on Saturday, April 6. The Royals enter the challenge with a record of 12-5. Rosary Academy lost 4-2 in their recent league challenge against Santa Margarita (Rancho Santa Margarita, CA)
