Oregon High School Softball - Lakeview bounces Brookings-Harbor
April 6, 2024: Lakeview, OR 97630 Lakeview Honkers (Lakeview, OR) backers exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Brookings-Harbor Bruins (Brookings, OR), 9-2 in a league challenge.
The Honkers now own a 3-5 record. They take the field next when they host Burns for a non-league challenge on Wednesday, April 10. Lakeview will battle a Hilanders squad coming off a 7-3 league win over Vale (Vale, OR). The Hilanders record now stands at 5-2.
With the loss, Brookings-Harbor falls to 4-6 on the campaign. The Bruins host Sutherlin (Sutherlin, OR) to battle the Bulldogs in a 3A-SD3 Special District 3 challenge on Thursday, April 11. The Bulldogs enter the challenge with a record of 2-5.
