Illinois High School Softball - Plainfield East can't hold off Naperville Central
April 6, 2024: Plainfield, IL 60585 The Naperville Central Redhawks softball team scored 4 runs and limited the host Plainfield East Bengals to 3 in the Redhawks non-league triumph on Saturday.
With the triumph, Naperville Central moves its record to 3-1 on the year. The Redhawks travel to Waubonsie Valley (Aurora, IL) to clash with the Warriors in a DuPage Valley game on Monday, April 8. The Warriors come into the game with a record of 3-6. Waubonsie Valley won 8-3 in their recent non-league game against Harlem (Machesney Park, IL)
In their next game, the Bengals clash with the Plainfield Central Wildcats (Plainfield, IL) in a Suburban Prairie - South game, on Tuesday, April 9. Plainfield East will attempt to move on its 3-4 season record. The Wildcats come into the game with a 5-3 record after their 4-3 non-league win over Neuqua Valley (Naperville, IL).
