The Empire Bulldogs baseball team scored 9 runs and held the host Rush Springs Redskins to 6 in the Bulldogs league win on Monday.

The Bulldogs now hold a 12-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Turner for a non-league test on Thursday, April 9. Empire will play a Falcons team coming off a 12-4 non-league win over Bennington (Bennington, OK). The Falcons record now stands at 9-2.

With the defeat, Rush Springs drops to 5-8 on the year. The Redskins host Maysville (Maysville, OK) to play the Warriors in a non-league test on Tuesday, April 14. The Warriors go into the test with a record of 0-17.
