The crowd at Monday's league battle between the Marshall Bobcats (Marshall, AR) and the host Izard County Cougars (Brockwell, AR), saw Marshall's baseball team gain a win over Izard County by a tally of 6-2.

The Bobcats (4-6) will now prepare for their battle against Tuckerman (Tuckerman, AR). The Bulldogs enter the 2A Region 2 battle with a 9-5 record. In their last battle, Tuckerman was overwhelmed by Cedar Ridge (Newark, AR), 4-3, in a league battle.

Next, the Cougars face the Sloan-Hendrix Greyhounds (Imboden, AR) in a 2A Region 2 battle, on Tuesday, April 7. Izard County will attempt to upgrade on its 2-7 season record.
