April 6, 2026: Joplin, MO 64804 The Joplin Eagles (Joplin, MO) baseball got by the visiting Kickapoo Chiefs (Springfield, MO), 2-1 in Monday's league challenge.
The Eagles now own a 6-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Glendale for a Class 6 District 6 challenge on Tuesday, April 7. Joplin will clash with a Falcons team coming off a 10-1 non-league loss to Liberty (Liberty, MO). The Falcons record now stands at 10-4.
With the defeat, Kickapoo drops to 5-4 on the year. The Chiefs host Carthage (Carthage, MO) to clash with the Tigers in a Class 6 District 6 challenge on Tuesday, April 7. The Tigers go into the challenge with a record of 5-5. Carthage won 11-4 in their recent non-league challenge against Rockhurst (Kansas City, MO)
