The Evergreen Park Mustangs softball team scored 21 runs and held the host Argo Argonauts to 1 in the Mustangs league win on Monday.

The Mustangs now possess a 6-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Shepard for a South Suburban battle on Tuesday, April 7. Evergreen Park will confront a Astros team coming off a 15-6 non-league loss to Joliet West (Joliet, IL). The Astros record now stands at 1-5.

With the loss, Argo moves to 4-3 on the season. The Argonauts travel to Oak Forest (Oak Forest, IL) to confront the Bengals in a South Suburban battle on Tuesday, April 7.
