The Corona del Sol Aztecs softball team scored 7 runs and held the visiting Casteel Colts to 3 in the Aztecs non-league win on Monday.

The Aztecs now possess a 11-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Basha for a non-league battle on Tuesday, April 7. Corona del Sol will confront a Bears team coming off a 6-4 league win over Casteel (Queen Creek, AZ). The Bears record now stands at 13-3.

With the loss, Casteel moves to 6-12 on the season. The Colts travel to Chandler (Chandler, AZ) to confront the Wolves in a 6A Premier battle on Tuesday, April 7. The Wolves come into the battle with a record of 9-8. Chandler won 8-4 in their recent league battle against Hamilton (Chandler, AZ)
