The Lawrence Central Bears baseball team scored 3 runs and limited the host Pike Red Devils to 0 in the Bears league victory on Wednesday.

The Bears (2-0) will now prepare for their match against Center Grove (Greenwood, IN). The Trojans come into the Metropolitan challenge with a 5-1 record. In their last challenge, Center Grove nipped Greenwood Christian Academy (Greenwood, IN), 13-2, in a non-league challenge.

With the defeat, Pike falls to 0-6 on the season. The Red devils host Lebanon (Lebanon, IN) to battle the Tigers in a non-league challenge on Friday, April 9.
