North Carolina High School Lacrosse - Independence drops to Charlotte Catholic

April 7, 2022: Charlotte, NC 28226

Charlotte Catholic Cougars (Charlotte, NC) followers exited the stadium content Thursday as they witnessed their lacrosse squad top the visiting Independence Patriots (Charlotte, NC), 19-7 in a league battle.

The Cougars now have a 12-4 record. They take the field next when they host Christ the King for a non-league battle on Monday, April 11. Charlotte Catholic will clash with a Crusaders squad coming off a 17-6 league win over Pine Lake Prep (Mooresville, NC). The Crusaders record now stands at 11-5.

In their next game, the Patriots clash with the Butler Bulldogs (Matthews, NC) in a non-league battle, on Tuesday, April 19. Independence will attempt to move on its 3-9 season record. The Bulldogs come into the battle with a 0-10 record after their 19-2 non-league loss to Sun Valley (Monroe, NC).
